Beaconsfield celebrates Children’s Week

National Children's Week is an opportunity to "reflect on the needs of children and families and what we can do to help and support them," according to Beaconsfield Child and Family Centre leader Stewart Bell.

The centre will be running a community event to coincide with the week on Monday, October 30, featuring activities suitable for children up to five years of age.

“As a Child and Family Centre it’s an opportunity for us to celebrate the children in our community," Mr Bell said.

“There will be a number of fun and interactive activities and learning experiences, with free coffees for parents."

The event will begin at 9.30am, and will involve craft activities, balloon animals, story time and a barbecue lunch.
