A long-term master plan will be developed for the Freycinet National Park.

The state government will fund the plan that will be developed by Emma Riley and Associates.

Parks and environment minister Elise Archer said it was a vital part of ensuring the area is still showcased.

“We want to ensure the area continues to build and attract even more visitors,” she said.

The park is the state’s most visited.
