Bowls Australia confirmed 28 players for November’s Trans Tasman Test Series, to be played at Broadbeach in Queensland featuring senior, development and para-sport teams.
A triple world champion, Van Asch has been named in the women’s senior team alongside Queenslander Lynsey Clarke, Victorian Carla Krizanic and NSW quartet Kelsey Cottrell, Karen Murphy, Ellen Ryan and Natasha Scott.
“Pretty stoked with this news today,” Van Asch said on Twitter. “Looking forward to doing battle with my Jackaroos teammates against the old foe.”
Following this event, the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games athletes will be ratified and the team announced by Commonwealth Games Australia later in the year.
