More than 50 people were given a taste of the musical talent to be featured in churches across the next three weekends.
West Tamar Arts Group is behind the unique performances, which are set to incorporate a range of genres.
Vice chairwoman Hilary Keeley said the group wanted to give the community something everyone could enjoy.
“Art isn’t just about painting and sculptures,” she said.
“We have everything from rock to opera to jazz coming from some fantastic performers.”
Sunday’s schedule included performances from Tasmanian tenor Joe Di Sario, vocalist Georgia Clarke, violinist Michael Stocks and acapella group The Fella’s.
Sound Experience will start on Saturday, October 14 with a matinee Baroque concert performance at the Uniting Church at Beauty Point from 2pm. It will be Tasmanian talent Nic Tolputt’s last Australian performance before leaving for Europe.
