The manufacturer is sending down a pair of experts to look after their Northern Tasmanian customers.
“If you own a Maton acoustic guitar bring it along and us, or the Maton staff, will restring it for you for free” Barratts Music owner Mark Barratt said.
The Launceston music store is hosting the expo at the Hotel Grand Chancellor on October 14 and 15.
A large selection of guitars from major players, Fender, Gretsch and Ibanez, will be available to buy.
Barratts Music guitar expert Carl Treasure was looking forward to bringing some smaller brands to the attention of their customers at the expo.
“Duesenberg Guitars are a boutique make out of Germany. A lot of people don’t get to try the lesser-known brands so we thought it would be a good opportunity to put some of those in,” Treasure said.
