New petrol price regulations
Petrol stations will no longer be able to advertise the discounted price of fuel outside outlets after a new code of practice was approved in Parliament today.

Under the change, an outlet must advertise just the prices before a discount, given to a motorist either through shopper dockets or a membership program.
The new rule is expected to be enforced by mid-2018.
