The TCL confirmed that the Tigers have said they would not be “be putting any sides in the competition this season”.
The withdrawal leaves just seven teams in TCL’s Premier League roster, with the first round of Twenty20 matches scheduled to start on October 7.
The TCL executive will meet on Monday to discuss the situation and amend any draft rosters released.
