Families, gym junkies, friends of competitors and the general public shouted out encouragement and cheers as muscular men and women took to the stage at the 2017 ICN Tasmanian Championships.
The championship had 200 Tasmanian entries competing in more than 20 separate divisions which ranged from men’s bodybuilding open, ms figure to men’s physique.
ICN Tasmania is ranked in the top three performing state, and organisers hoped the event would be bigger and better than ever.
Held at the Country Club Tasmania, the competitors ranged in age from 17 and 60-years-old.
The event, which was run by locally-owned and operated supplement chain Planet Max, showcased local and national health and fitness related businesses.
Organisers said the event was drug-tested to the same standard as the Olympic Games, through World Anti-Doping Agency-authorised laboratories.
