Her Launceston coffee shop Badger & Boots was targeted this week, with the front door smashed in and some of Ms Corrick’s personal items stolen.
While the offenders didn’t manage to take cash from the shop, Ms Corrick said they had escaped with one of her favourite books, a small pouch containing some money and old TattsLotto tickets.
“No shop money was stolen but there was a random $20 note on the counter,” she said.
“I don’t know if they were giving me a tip or something … like ‘sorry for the inconvenience but here’s 20 bucks’.”
The first time Ms Corrick had to deal with thieves was six months after she opened.

“It just makes you so angry,” she said.
“We put our blood sweat and tears into making something and people just think they can come and just take from us.”
Tasmania Police was at the scene on Wednesday morning.
