Emergency services were called out to separate incidents on the West Tamar Highway at Exeter, Stony Rise Road in Devonport, Anthony Road in Queenstown, and Judds Creek Road at Judbury throughout Monday morning.
While there were no serious injuries sustained in each of crashes, Senior Sergeant Stewart Williams said it was vital people exercised caution in wet conditions, no matter what season it was.
“Spring in Tasmania often finds us suffering wet and cold conditions,” he said.
“These conditions affect the roads we travel on just as much as if we were walking on a wet footpath.
“People need to make sure they slow down, increase the distance between themselves and the car in front of them, turn on their headlight if visibility is poor, be patient, and remain focused and attentive to what they are doing.”
