Region’s fuel price is steady
The gap in the price of unleaded fuel in Tasmania, compared to the national average, has narrowed.

In Launceston last week, the average cost of fuel was 136.0 cents-per-litre.
This compared to a national regional average of 127.5 cents-per-litre.
Despite the regional average increasing 0.3 cents-per-litre from the previous week, Tasmanians still pay – on average – 8.2 cents-per-litre more.
Devonport had the cheapest average, at 134.5 cents-per-litre, while Sorell had the most expensive at 138.7.
