Upgrades to the area’s seating have improved accessibility so all members of the community can enjoy it.
“The old picnic tables became very difficult to use. In order to access them you had to climb over the seats. The new park furniture is much more user-friendly and attractive,” Ms Ingamells said.
The seating issue was raised with Councillor Bob Richardson in March by Westbury Health.
Westbury Health employee Eve Taylor said the community was impressed at how quickly the seating was installed and completed.
The Village Green dates back to 1830.
