Anne Blythman said the August events had just wrapped up and had gone really well.

“We had a range of activities for children and adults. A number of them read stories on Tamar FM … We’ve had fantastic support,” she said. 

The festival’s blue chair also stopped by a number of locations around the town to encourage people to read books. 

The festival continues in September with childrens and adults illustrative workshops on the 19^th and 20^th respectively. 

An author talk will be held on September 29 and an after-hours reading hour later in the month.
