Anne Blythman said the August events had just wrapped up and had gone really well.
“We had a range of activities for children and adults. A number of them read stories on Tamar FM … We’ve had fantastic support,” she said.
The festival’s blue chair also stopped by a number of locations around the town to encourage people to read books.
The festival continues in September with childrens and adults illustrative workshops on the 19th and 20th respectively.
An author talk will be held on September 29 and an after-hours reading hour later in the month.
