The fifth-ranked Blues, who will play finals for the first time since 2013, will challenge reigning premier Glenorchy in an elimination final at Bellerive Oval on Saturday, September 2.
The two teams have met twice this year with the ledger at one win apiece.
While minor premier North Launceston will have week one off and play the winner of the qualifying final between Clarence and Lauderdale at UTAS Stadium in three weeks’ time.
TSL general manager Carl Saunder confirmed on Wednesday that all finals would be played at either two of the state’s AFL venues, including a twilight grand final.
“Three cracking games back to back at an AFL venue is a great way to get finals fired up and I think TSL fans will have a great day out on September 2 with a bye round in the AFL," Saunder said. “Any of the five teams could beat one another on any given day which will make for a really exciting September.
“It is a finals series full of possibilities and I think it is going to be really exciting and unpredictable for Tasmanian footy fans.
“Glenorchy attempting to go back to back from outside the top three. Launceston in the mix after missing finals last year, North Launceston under Tom Couch looking to go one better than last year.”
Saunder said a twilight fixture would be set in each week of the finals.
