In a successful season which has seen the Redlegs finish equal top on points with South Launceston, Cox polled 41 votes to finish 14 ahead of midfielder Jackson Chorley and one more still from defender Will Fisher.
Cox was named in his side’s best eight times during the season and kicked a season-high five goals against Deloraine in round 13.
Young midfielder Jacob Bonney has been rewarded for a brilliant year, collecting BRIDGENORTH’s best and fairest award.

HILLWOOD midfielder Daniel Withers successfully defended his best and fairest title with another remarkably consistent season.
Playing all 16 games of the home and away season, Withers was named in his side’s best six on 14 occasions and has been a regular contributor on the scoreboard with 17 majors for the season.
Fellow midfielder Nathan Pearce was runner-up in the count, finishing 48 votes behind.
DELORAINE defender Brad Crowden has shared his side’s best and fairest for the second year running, finishing alongside Matthew Griffin on 76 votes.
Matthew O’Donoghue was next in line, having been named best-on-ground on two occasions during the season.
