On Tuesday, the college donated more than $900 to the charity.
The charity’s founder, Kristen Ritchie said the funds will go to continuing services for the homeless.
“It really was a fantastic night and it’s great to receive this (donation),” she said.
The school’s food hospitality and design advanced skills teacher Fiona Crocker felt proud of what the students had achieved.
“They have done a few events for the community and they decided they actually wanted to give something back to the community,” she said. “They’re a really tight-knit family down here in hospitality.”
About 15 students worked on the night to cater for more than 45 diners.
“These are a great group of students who gave up a Friday night and served up a really fantastic meal,” Mrs Crocker said.
