As the first signs of spring start to emerge, the Bureau of Meteorology has released its forecast for the coming season.
The bureau is is predicting a warmer-than-average spring for most of the country.
In Tasmania, the bureau has forecast an 80 per cent chance of the state exceeding its median maximum temperatures for the season.
The media for most of the state is between 15 and 18 degrees, down to 9 to 12 degrees in the central South and Central Highlands, and between 12 and 15 degrees in the South East and inland North West.
It’s set to be a standard spring in terms of rainfall, with the bureau not banking on a drier or wetter season for Tasmania, or the Eastern part of the country.
