The Australian Breastfeeding Association presented the centre with a Baby Care Room Award for providing facilities that enable mothers to feed and change their babies while away from home. 

The centre’s leader, Stewart Bell, said he was delighted to receive the award. 

“We pride ourselves on being a safe, welcoming and accessible centre for our mums,” he said. “We’re very pleased and will continue to improve our facilities so that they meet the needs of our wonderful community.”

The award has three different level ratings, a two, three or five-star and certification is given when a room meets the criteria. The centre was awarded five stars.
