The vets shared the spoils of their Charity Golf Day, donating $1000 to the cause at the Launceston Golf Club on Monday.
Held in May, the Charity Golf Day featured more than 90 vets players from about seven different clubs teeing off to raise funds.
The event has built up a strong following in the time it has been running, with support from around the region.
Launceston vets president Don Gee said it meant a lot to give to several causes at once.
“We always have veterans from outside clubs, who provide valuable support in a monetary and physical sense,” he said.
“The Examiner’s Winter Relief Appeal continues to get our support due to the practice of sharing the funds raised with multiple causes.”
More than $40,000 has been raised by the appeal so far, which aims to assist Benevolent Society, Salvation Army, City Mission and St Vincent de Paul.
After Sunday's AFL crowd gave generously at UTAS Stadium, Examiner editor Courtney Greisbach said it was great to see another sector of Launceston's sporting community get involved.
"The Launceston veteran golfers have been an asset to The Examiner's Winter Relief Appeal," she said.
"The charity day is a shining example of what it means to give back to wider community.”
