Council reworks sport club’s pricing policy
The recreation pricing policy, created by the Meander Valley Council, will return be reviewed in 12 months after a 30 minute discussion occurred at last week’s council meeting.

Councillor Bob Richardson said it was important the council encouraged participation in sport by keeping facilities hire fees low for the region’s clubs.
Councillor Ian Mackenzie said he was not sure the policy was right.
Councillor Andrew Connor said the policy should be about sport and not a money making exercise.
