Player of the year front-runners Jaye Bowden and Tom Couch maintained their rivalry by both picking up points in their teams’ victories on Saturday.

Reigning champ Bowden also strengthened his lead at the top of the goal-kicking table in Glenorchy’s win over Launceston.

Meanwhile Northern Bombers coach Couch was content to concede priority votes to teammates Tom Bennett and Josh Ponting in the demolition of second-placed Clarence.
