Former Glamorgan Spring Bay council chambers put on market

The former Glamorgan Spring Bay Council chambers have been listed for sale after a council decision in January.

The building was a former court house and was home to the Tasmanian East Coast Spring Bay Council from 1954 until it merged with Glamorgan Council in 1993.

The merged Glamorgan Spring Bay Council moved to a new premises at Triabunna in 2014.

The building looks over the head-waters of Spring Bay Harbour, has a price tag of $700,000, more than 20 rooms and a floor plan of 548sqm.

Nine council-owned properties were proposed for sale in January, with the former chambers being passed unanimously. It was the only listed property that passed unanimously.
