Past and current players attended what organisers say was a “great day”.
“The club has always been an important place for the young people of Bridport,” club committee member Peter Hall said.
The celebrations started with more than 50 children from the club’s under 12/13 team having a kick. They were then awarded a medal.
The reserves started off the official celebration before three players were awarded life membership and ran through a banner.
The celebrations ended with a two-course meal.
“It was a lovely day, it was a great day for the club and I reckon the whole town benefited,” Mr Hall said.
