An often bad-tempered contest reached boiling point on the half-time siren when a Clarence trainer was reported to have struck Lefroy Medallist Jay Lockhart on the boundary line.
North president Thane Brady confirmed the incident was featured in the AFL Tasmania-appointed match manager’s report which will be assessed by the MRP, headed by Wayne Povey, on Monday.
Brady said while he did not see the alleged incident, he understood it took place in front of the Clarence bench as the coaches were walking off the ground at half-time.
Roos defender Tim Castle and goalsneak Trent Standen had already been reported for earlier incidents and will also be assessed by the MRP.
“The MRP review incidents brought to their attention by the umpires or match manager and I know it was on his report,” Brady said.
