Visitors are welcomed all year round to freely explore the largest lavender plantation in the Southern Hemisphere.
The peak flowering season is generally from December to mid-February, offering spectacular vistas of 130 hectares of lavender in full bloom set against the striking backdrop of Mount Arthur.
In the cooler months the farm welcomes visitors 7 days a week to see the seasons of Tasmania beautifully reflected in the ornamental gardens, native bushland and contours of lavender plants that make up the Estate.
The Café is also open 7 days a week, offering a cosy place to enjoy a lavender hot chocolate and a popular range of lavender inspired food and drinks including light meals and sweet treats like lavender scones and the must-try Bridestowe lavender ice-cream.
Self-guided tour sheets are available to ensure that visitors can learn about the farm and the nearly 100-year history since the founders of Bridestowe Estate first arrived in Tasmania in 1922.
The Visitor Centre and gift shop is stocked with a wide range of unique products, including gourmet condiments, homewares, and luxurious spa products enhanced with pure Bridestowe Lavender, and of course, the world famous Bobbie the Bear.
Entry is free for the majority of the year, however during peak flowering period, there is a $10 entry fee with guided tours six times a day.
