Located at the Scottsdale Hospital for about a month, the bus provides free checks to women aged over 40.
Appointments are available on the BreastScreen Tasmania Mobile Unit.
Free appointments can be made by calling 13 20 50.
The service is supported by the state government and Health Service.
The bus leaves Scottsdale on August 11.
It arrived in town on July 17.
