The iron-related disorder is one of the most common genetic conditions, affecting one in 200 people.
This year’s Overload exhibition was opened on August 4 and allows artists of all mediums to inform people of the condition. Some participating artists had never heard of haemochromatosis.
The exhibition is being held at the Deloraine Hospital Gallery and will be open until the first week of November.
