Kurt Budgeon sliced through Saints’ defence, posting six goals with opposite number Keegan Popowski scoring Saints’ entire tally of five.

The Devonport Subbies torpedoed the South Burnie Hawks taking a 5-0 win from their clash in Burnie.
Ben Loone converted early in the first half as the teams struggled to penetrate the defences in a classic battle to control the ball flow.
A shuffle of the deck at half time had the Subbies applying the blow torch to the Hawks’ defence. Callum Dubeld added two while Daniel Hinds’ and Mick Williams’ corner conversions put the game beyond the Hawks who were missing key defence players Tom Trevarthan and Roger Ambrose.
Burnie Baptist continues in top position with a win over rivals City Marians.
The Bloods held sway at half time by a single goal in the close-fought scrap with a field goal from Matt Cameron.
Baptist applied the pressure in the second half with playmaker Matt Selby beating the keeper to post their first and young gun Alexander Poke giving them the lead minutes later.
The Bloods stepped up the pace and pressure but Baptist posted another from Selby putting the game beyond reach at three goals to one.
Queechy and Tamar played a tight defensive affair that started with a goal-mouth scrimmage and penalty stroke conversion for Brett Withington, the difference in the sides at the big break.
Tamar’s defence game kept the Qs at bay until the midpoint of the second half when Stuart Withington found a way around keeper Eugene Van Niekerk.
Game intensity was high with Tamar giving plenty in both attack and defence, as the teams looked for an advantage.
Josh Commins was the next to worry the scoreboard attendant as he added to the Q’s tally.
Justin Ockerby worked tirelessly for the Tamar attack and was rewarded with the consolation goal for his efforts, rounding out a 3-1 loss.
Launceston City defeated West Devonport with a strong opening half and a three-goal lead at the break.
West worked hard to bridge the gap and conceded just a single in the second half, going down 6-2.
