Australian Bauxite Limited said it had confirmed a sale of about 30,000 tonnes of bauxite from its Bald Hill mine near Campbell Town.
The cement-grade bauxite would be shipped from Bell Bay before September 30.
“The sale is a continuation of a significant ongoing business, which is due to be supplemented by additional purchasing from several offshore businesses,” Australian Bauxite told the ASX.

Chief operating officer Leon Hawker said the company could ship efficiently from Bell Bay, which he described as “an all-weather, 24/7 export port that can operate to high standards all year round”.
“This is a core strength of our business.”
The company has a range of other bauxite deposits in Tasmania, mostly in a rough triangle between Deloraine, Campbell Town and Launceston, and on the mainland.
It is working towards potential mining at its Binjour Project, in Queensland.
It recently said marketing partner Rawmin Mining wanted to take evaluation of the Binjour Project to the next stage.
That would include talking to banks about finance, starting economic assessments and more.
Mr Hawker said Rawmin would lead the assessment while Australian Bauxite focused on shipments of cement-grade bauxite from Tasmania.
The companies hope Binjour would allow them to provide bauxite for aluminium refining all year round.
Australian Bauxite has focused on cement and fertiliser grades while prices of metallurgical-grade bauxite have struggled.
In late May, chairman and former state premier Paul Lennon said there had been an unexpected improvement in metallurgical prices for the aluminium industry.
The company had started talks with potential aluminium industry customers for the first time in more than 18 months.
