Coach Ruth Tuohy feels that the match-of-the-round clash against Kingston Blues is the perfect preparation for a tilt at this year’s title.
“We will be looking to start strongly in our last home game against Kingston,” she said. “Our defensive game will be a focus to ensure we delay them with the ball and force errors that we can consistently convert into goals.”
Cavaliers head to St Helens against bottom-placed OHA.
Injuries to Lucy Dennis, Jamie Easther and Jacky Bennett hurt the Cavs.
But the loss of star Estelle Margetts, due to university commitments in Canberra, is now the biggest blow.
