The 18-year-old was first referred straight to the match review panel over a crude attempt on Tigers opponent Lachlan Watt in Saturday’s fierce clash at Windsor Park.
But the MRP felt no further action was required after the umpire paid the free kick against Palfreyman.
The one-time Western Storm player, now in his second year at the Blues, is free to play in the crucial game against Hobart City Demons.
A ninth victory would push Launceston out to a two-win-and-percentage buffer over their finals rival to all but ensure a place inside the top five still four rounds out.
Palfreyman has been one of the reasons for the Blues’ strong development this year under coach Sam Lonergan, racking up 38 and 29-possession games in back-to-back weeks last month.
From the earlier reserves game at Windsor Park, Tiger Tyler Hughes was given a severe reprimand on the serious charge of kicking Launceston’s Zach Griffiths.
The MRP found the incident was intentional, but with low impact to the body.
Hughes has been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a reprimand with his early guilty plea.
Lauderdale’s Joshua Wells will face the tribunal for an off-the-ball incident on Burnie’s Mason Chatwin.
But due to a lack of evidence, the case will be delayed until Friday night by the independent panel.
