Reduced hire fee motion for BODRA Markets lost
A motion to allow the BODRA Markets to use the St Marys Hall at a lower hire rate failed at Break O’Day Council’s July meeting.

The motion, moved by councillor Hannah Rubenach, suggested charging the markets a once-off annual fee of $25 or a $40 monthly fee and allowed the use of kitchen facilities.
Cr Rubenach said the markets were a social opportunity for those in the area. The motion was declared lost after only Cr Rubenach and Councillor Kylie Wright voted for the motion.
