With its largest automotive auction of the year happening next weekend, the team at Tullochs Auction are busy preparing the showroom floor for a packed crowd.
Appealing to buyers and up for grabs is an LH L34 Torana with racing history, a 1970 Ford GTHO replica and a Back to the Future, Delorean DMC12 Gullwing Coupe.
But the undoubted star of the auction will be a 1969 Holden HT GTS Monaro Coupe – located in Victoria and to be auctioned online.
Tullochs Auctions manager Jessie Reid expects it will fetch between $120,000 and $150,000 – more than the Ford XB Falcon John Goss Special Coupe, also for sale.
“We’ve kept them on the mainland because it seems likely that’s where their market will be, but hopefully a Tasmanian will snap them up,” she said.
Gates open at 10am on July 22 before the 1pm auction.
