That was the message from Meander Valley Council members at the Hadspen Memorial Centre on Tuesday night, as the council conducted the second of its Community Council Forums.
A sizeable group of councillors and ratepayers gathered at the centre to discuss a variety of issues ranging from the Hadspen Urban Growth Project to the National Broadband Network.
In his closing statement, mayor Craig Perkins said feedback from the Hadspen community was as important as ever.
“There are not many towns in Tasmania over the last 30 years that have had a 15 per cent growth rate in a five year period,” he said.
“I’d encourage people to stay in touch as the plans take shape.”
After the councillors introduced themselves, brief updates were given on the Hadspen Urban Growth Project, Open Space and Community opportunities.
The floor was then opened to questions from the public, with people getting to have their say on current council plans, as well as what they believed needed to be implemented.
