After being overpowered by an experienced South Burnie in round two earlier in the year, City’s teamwork and pressure will need to remain consistently high to challenge the Hawks.
The Hawks welcome the return of Mel Scolyer.
They will be coming out strong and looking for the win, but they will not be underestimating the experience and young legs of the Launceston side.
South Launceston Suns take on hometown rivals Tamar Churinga.
The Suns will look to Kira Budgeon and Hayley Johns to drive them across the line.
Tamar’s defensive unit will be a challenge for the Suns and they will need to pull out all their tactics if they want to come away with a win.
Queechy Penguins travel up the coast to play ladder leaders West Devonport.
It will be a tough game for the travelling team.
They will need to focus on their short game and strength over the ball to get the edge over the home side.
West’s defensive unit will be the breaking force in this game with Queechy needing to take every advantage they are given to get on the scoreboard.
Smithton travels to Burnie to play an in-form City Marians side.
Gone is the inexperienced team from the start of the season.
The Marians have found their footing and they are ready to make a move on the ladder.
Smithton will be without key players this week and will be expecting a hard game on the Marians’ home turf.
