After beating the Basketball Australia College Centre of Excellence team 90-73 on Friday night, the team led from start to finish against the Canberra Gunners on the Saturday to secure a 79-62 victory.
Playing at Belconnen Basketball Stadium, the Thunder outscored the home team in every quarter for a confidence-building result.
After going into the first break with a 15-12 advantage, the visitors scored 40 points in the next two quarters while restricting their opponents to 28 for a 15 point lead at the final change.
It saved the best until last, netting 24 points in the final period to run out 17-point victors.
Chudier Pal led the scoring for the Thunder with 14 points, while Daniel Sepokas chimed in with 12.
The Thunder play Albury Wodonga at Ulverstone next Saturday.
