It’s the 10th birthday of the ADVENTURE BAY BLUES AND ROOTS FESTIVAL this weekend at Bruny Island. For those who are looking to head south and continue on past the Dark Mofo celebrations, the community-based festival offers a more laid-back alternative. The festival kicks off on Saturday afternoon, and runs through until Sunday afternoon. Remember, it’s the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, so there is plenty of time to get home in time for the real world on Tuesday. This year’s festival headliners include Pete Cornelius, Guthrie, and Yesterday’s Gentlemen. Tickets are on sale now at Moshtix.com.au, for $55.
