The Western Tiers Film Society will show Sing Street at this month’s meeting.

Held on the second Saturday of every month, the society aims to show a variety of genres, cultures and interesting films at Deloraine’s Little Theatre.

“We’re don’t show blockbusters, but we show movies that are interesting and we have also gotten to know out members over the years and we know which ones they’re interested in,” society secretary Deborah White said.  The society currently has more than 60 members with about half attending the monthly meets.

“Because we’ve been going for a while, people who come are starting to get to know each other, and people are encouraged to stay about and chat,” she said.

The show starts at 7.30pm.
