The 2017-18 state budget, which was handed down last week, saw increased funding for education, including spends on infrastructure and the continuation of funding to implement recommendations from the Disability Taskforce.
But disability education spokespeople have raised concerns over the amount of funds provided to the sector.
On Monday, Mr Rockliff said funding for students with disability had increased compared to last year.
“The Hodgman Liberal government is committed to ensuring every Tasmanian student can thrive in an inclusive learning environment,” he said.
“There is $6 million more for students with disability than the previous year.
“The budget for students with disability is $82.06 million in 2017, compared to $75.99 million in 2016.”
