The Blues looked a much more polished outfit on their home deck at Windsor Park, accounting for the winless Tigers 9.5 (59) to 1.0 (6).
Launceston now boast a 2-1 win-loss record and exactly where coach Alex Gibbins expected them to be after four rounds.
“We dominated field position, it was all played on our terms,” Gibbins said post match.
“Hayley Whyte was best on ground off half back…we still have some gelling to do, but our midfield were on top all day today – we just kept the ball going forward.”
Naomi Celebre booted three goals as did full forward Ash Bowen in her 50th match for Launceston, who led the inside-50 count 32-12.
“With other results this round, it means we play Glenorchy at home next weekend for equal top spot if we can win,” Gibbins said.

“We will know a lot more after next week about where we are at.
“At the moment it is Clarence, Glenorchy and then us, but I think we are as good as anyone on our day.”
Gibbins said the side would benefit from the return of several senior stars for the Magpies’ encounter.
