The reunion was held as a way to celebrate the group’s 35th birthday.
Organiser Aneek Tame said it was a fantastic night.
“We had about 60 people there. We didn’t need a lot of entertainment because we were pretty entertaining ourselves,” she said. “We thought it would be a great idea to catch up with all our older members because 35 years is a long time.”
Mrs Tame said there had been about 100 members over the last 35 years.
“We had members there that have been there from the word go,” she said. “It’s a lovely club and a great bunch of women.” The group raises money to assist rebuilding communities after disasters.
