Mole Creek is home to a second defibrillator due to the hard work of the Deloraine Rotary Club with a device now housed at the town’s Pub.

“The pub is probably open the most hours of the day and it’s a meeting place for everyone in the community and because of that, it’s a good place to have one,” the club’s director of community service Lesley Dare said.
“We realise that the local fire station actually has one but, that is locked up. So it’s not easy for the general public to access it.”
The money was raised through the Tasmanian Craft Fair, which is distributed to community projects.
“I look around the community and say ‘where is the biggest need?’” Mrs Dare said. “They’re very excited about it in Mole Creek.”
