A display of 12 mosaic tiles have been created by a group of 10 students as part of the school’s flexible learning program.
Program coordinator Elizabeth Stanfield said the children really enjoyed the opportunity.
“They were really excited by that completely different media,” Ms Stanfield said.
Artist Kaye Wilde drove from Devonport every second week for two terms to help the students with the project.
“When they were finished they just so beautiful, we had a lot of really great feedback about how great they look,” Ms Standfield said.
The tiles will be officially opened on June 1.
