Six organisations requested funding. including Tasdance, The Holographic Lounge, Lilydale Arts and Heritage Inc, Tasmanian Acquired Brain Injury Services, Mast Films Pty Ltd and the LGH Historical Committee.
All received a grant to help with their community projects which will see projects like the Lilydale Village Green revitalised, a Traumatic Brain Injury in the Military presentation and performing arts at the Launceston General Hospital.
Five individuals will also benefit from a grant aiming to support young people aged 18 years or under living in the Launceston, who have been selected to represent Australia, Tasmania or Northern Tasmania.
Three were given sponsorship for the F1 in Schools Technology Challenge National Finals, one is participating in the Australian Athletics Championships and one is a member of the U18 state men's basketball team.
