Established in 2014, the two schools will meet in their annual round 1 Northern High School roster football game for premiership points at Youngtown Oval.
This year’s edition will include a girls fixture for the first time with Kings Meadows hoping to win the cup for the fourth consecutive year.
Both schools will field five teams with points awarded from each game and the overall winning school claiming the Bulldog Cup.
The challenge day will start at 12.15pm with the senior seconds and conclude with the main game, the senior firsts, under lights from 6.15pm.
South Launceston Football Club president Felicity Viney said that her club was pleased to continue its involvement with the concept.
“Many of our current and former players are ex-Kings Meadows or Queechy students,” she said.
“Our current coach Leigh Harding attended Kings Meadows and quite a few of our senior players are from Queechy.
“We want to encourage young people to be physically active and to enjoy the benefits of playing football.”
NHSSA executive officer Andrew McCarthy all Northern High School Sport rosters continue on Wednesday.
“The roster provides opportunities for students to play competitive hockey, netball, soccer, basketball and indoor soccer on a regular basis,” he said.
