For the first time in the show’s long-running history there will be a Weiner Dash, with sausage dogs testing their speed for the crowd.
Weiner Dash organiser Sophie Weeding said she had a sausage dog and thought the race would be a real drawcard for the show.
“They’re funny little creatures. Everyone loves sausage dogs,” Ms Weeding said.
Another new addition is the commercial ewe competition, and the wool theme continues with the annual merino wool garment fashion parade.
There will also be an agricultural forum on managing risk and a carcass lamb competition and auction.
“I think the show itself is a great showcase for wool, sheep and farmers,” Ms Weeding said.
The show in at Campbell Town Showgrounds on June 2-3.
