The shop opened its doors to shoppers on Thursday with a special offer – fill as much as you can in a shopping bag for $2.

Neighbourhood House manager Trish O’Duffy said the shop was quite small before the renovations and filled with dead space. 

“We took the opportunity to rearrange the counter, now it’s much more inviting and friendly,” she said. 

“We’ve had lots of feedback from the community. They absolutely love it.” 

The shop was able to extend the storage space to cope with donations. 

The shop donates their profits through their own grants program.
