The Melbourne rockers have announced a string of new dates to bookend their appearance at Splendour including two Tasmanian shows; one at Launceston’s Hotel Tasmania on July 6 and another at Hobart’s Republic Bar the following night.
The shows will see the band bring their sophomore album After Hours, Close to Dawn to Tassie crowds for the first time.
Kingswood will follow their appearance at Splendour, where they will share the stage with Queens of the Stone Age and LCD Soundsystem, with a pair of shows in New South Wales on July 28 and 29.
All shows will be supported by Sydney four-piece Dear Seattle, who have recently toured with New South Wales punk rockers Trophy Eyes and US acts Citizen and Emarosa.
