A man was found by police and SES rescue teams on Friday morning after spending the night lost at Meander Valley Falls.

The man was walking with his wife when they decided to separate, they agreed to meet at 2pm, but he failed to return.
His wife became concerned for his safety and contacted police at 3.30pm on Thursday.
Search and rescue personnel searched the area’s tracks, locating him at 3am near a creek, where he had decided to wait until morning. He was able to walk out with rescuers.
Tasmania police said the man was in good health despite the cold conditions overnight.
The course normally takes less than three hours to complete.
