The creative genius behind Bistro Guillaume will arrive in Launceston on Thursday as part of the Great Chef Series, which will see Brahimi team up with TasTafe Drysdale students to whip up a seven-course degustation meal for the public on Friday night.
Drysdale division manager Maree Genke said 2017’s four remaining Great Chef Series dinners would coincide with AFL fixtures in Launceston.
“It’s a pretty amazing experience for students because they don’t just get to watch Guillaume do something, they actually get to work alongside him and be mentored by him - they’re literally spending two and a half days working with him,” Ms Genke said.
“They also get to work with some of Tasmania’s most premium produce and learn more about how to showcase it well in the dinners.”
